ME/CFS with Jaime Seltzer: Immune Deep Dive

A training for practitioners with Jamie Seltzer (1.5 NPCE)

February 10 from 5-6:30 pm ET

What you'll learn:

Jaime Seltzer will join us this month to discuss Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). This session will review the features distinguishing ME/CFS from chronic fatigue and burnout. We'll explore the condition's impact on the immune system and learn more about supporting clients with energy-limiting diseases. Seltzer will also discuss how lessons from the ME/CFS community can inform our approaches to Long COVID. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest research and practical strategies for supporting clients with these challenging conditions.

By the end of the session, you'll be able to:

Identify the key diagnostic criteria that distinguish ME/CFS from other fatigue-related conditions, enhancing diagnostic accuracy in clinical settings.
Explain the role of the immune system in ME/CFS, including how it contributes to symptoms and potential treatment targets.
Assess various treatment approaches based on recent research, including both conventional and integrative therapies, to improve client outcomes.
Formulate evidence-based strategies to support clients with energy-limiting diseases, focusing on lifestyle, dietary, and herbal interventions.
Apply insights from recent studies to inform clinical decisions and optimize care for individuals with ME/CFS.
