About the Bloom & Grow Academy
The Bloom & Grow Academy is a place for highly-trained herbalists and herbally-minded nutritionists to continue learning, advance their clinical work, and build community.
We offer courses to support you as you build and grow your practice, as well as the Monday Mentoring community of practice for those who are actively engaged in clinical work.
This is a new endeavor. For now, courses are taught/facilitated by Camille Freeman, RH, LDN. As we grow, we may offer courses with guest teachers as well! Stay tuned.

Camille Freeman
Registered Herbalist & Licensed Nutritionist
Hi there! I mentor highly-trained herbalists and nutritionists so that we can provide exceptional care for our communities. I've been in practice as a licensed nutritionist and herbalist since 2003, working in OB/Gyn offices, a fertility clinic and private practice.
I'm also a professor in the Department of Nutrition at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where I teach physiology and pathophysiology. Both my teaching and my clinical work are grounded in practical, fun, and common-sense methods that help us understand our work and ourselves more fully.
My herbal training started in 2001, when I apprenticed with Monica Rude of Desert Woman Botanicals in Gila, NM. I then went to MUIH for an MS in Herbal Medicine, followed by a second MS from Georgetown in Physiology and Biophysics. I also have a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition.
